First Day on the water at the East Cape

Well guys our first day wasn't the barn burner we hoped for. We stopped in front of the ranch (Rancho Leonero) and caught some snappers, Cabrias, and some other fine table fare. But that was about the highlight of the day. We trolled for roosters' by the light house seeing one hookup of a fish around 30 lbs that we lost at the boat by the Waynester. We also spent the rest of the day trolling for Marlin and saw at least twenty jumpers but never saw a tailer or had a fish in the pattern. We fished on John Irelands "Luna-Sea", a 50' Michelson that is a floating condo, very nice. Got some great filming done with Bill Roecker and Paul on product so that is out of the way, we are now ready to catch fish tomorrow.
